Understand
Not commands. Not forms. You talk about your money the way you'd tell a friend, and Nomia handles the records.
You choose how much Nomia does on its own. Ask mode asks before changes to your financial records; learning and memory updates happen automatically. The default saves routine entries instantly with a receipt in the chat and asks before bigger changes. Deletions always ask. It works for you, not the other way around.
Model
Accounts, credit cards, loans, budgets and repeating payments aren't separate lists. In Nomia they behave like they do in real life: a card payment moves money from an account, a loan installment lands on a schedule, a statement closes on its day.
Loans
A loan isn't a negative number. It's a contract: a schedule, a rate, a payoff date. Nomia models reducing-balance and flat-rate loans, balloon payments, deferred starts and rate changes, and can tell you what settling early would actually save.
Credit cards
Statement cycles, due dates, grace periods, credit limits, installment plans. Nomia closes your statement on statement day, knows what's due and when, and shows the honest payoff timeline, the way your bank actually calculates it.
Capture
Paste the bank message — or a screenshot of it — into the chat, and Nomia reads it and logs the entry for you, following your approval setting.

Nomia reads supported bank messages on your phone first and may send their text and transaction details to the AI to help categorise them. Offline, a message it read confidently still logs from your phone. If an entry looks like one you already logged, Nomia may ask a short question first. Corrections help Nomia recognise your merchants, accounts and preferences in future messages.
Memory
Every entry keeps its proof: the original bank message, the receipt photo, the note. Months later, the answer is still there.

Protect
Your records live on your device, behind a Nomia passcode, with optional Face ID or Touch ID. Viewing and entering them works offline; the AI assistant, and AI categorisation of messages, need a connection.
If you turn it on, backup goes to your own Apple account, encrypted by Apple, invisible to us by architecture. It covers your records, receipts and chats.
The assistant needs you to sign in with Apple; everything else works without a Nomia account. Nomia's service does not keep a separate ledger or a permanent archive of your chats. It sends the details needed for your request to Anthropic, and temporarily holds encrypted requests for up to 24 hours and completed answers for up to 24 hours after completion so your phone can recover them.
